"comment":"Eingeführt wurde die Zeitumstellung erstmals 1916 in Deutschland, drei Wochen später folgten Großbritannien und Irland. Die Bezeichnung die man in den englischsprachigen Ländern für die Zeitumstellung fand, beschreibt auch bereits den Zweck, das Optimum an nutzbarer Tageszeit zu gewinnen: 'Daylight Saving Time'. Zuvor machte sich etwa bereits Benjamin Franklin in einem Aufsatz mit dem Thema 'An Economical Project for Diminishing the Cost of Light.' im Journal de Paris vom 26. April 1784 Gedanken zum Thema. Jedoch dauerte es bis 1907, bis das Thema erneut aufgegriffen wurde, dieses Mal von dem Engländer William Willett dessen Abhandlung 'The Waste of Daylight' Grundlage für eine breite Diskussion war. Nachdem die Einführung einer Sommerzeit noch 1908 vom Britischen Unterhaus abgelehnt worden war, wurde diese dann 1916 als 'British Summer Time' Realität.",
