Hello. I'm a fan of early Windows 8 betas. I'm currently using 7955 and I want to ask you if there is a registry value that I can disable only the Start Screen (and keeping other features enabled)? Specifically I want the flat thumbnails like below and redpilling excluding shsxs or setting RPEnabled to 0 disables the new folder icon too and start screen in 7955 is unusable; I can't pin/add any tile manually

There's no way to do that right now.

There are various RP tiers (01-05 I believe), if one of them is purely dedicated to the start screen then toggling could be implemented.
