Links to RedHat Paywall content should be removed

Describe the issue

within the foreman documentation there is useful information, and useful links to support and enhance that information with deeper information or context. Red Hat changing document classification for some of these documents such as the example linked means an Opensource project is putting a dependency on paywalled context or information for it's users and community. If the information such as this example is behind a paywall the information should not be linked to, or an appropriate opensource page created within the foreman documentation to provide the value of the linked content without cutting and pasting from a subscription based content.

Anything else to add? (context, suggestions for a fix, etc.)

consideration on how to consistently review external links (especially redhat) to ensure not linking to paywall content, or consideration on just not linking to official redhat docs or specifically Satellite docs as this is now almost all paywall.

Do you have an alternative URL for the linked article? If you do, we could add it for upstream.

In general, all links about Satellite are Satellite-only. Some/most RHEL-specific URLs are shown for upstream and downstream because users can manage their RHEL hosts with all flavors of Foreman. Do you think this is OK as is?

I agree that for open source docs, we should always try to link to other open source projects/docs.

This shows a RHEL example for all builds; Fedora for non-Satellite builds; and a link to access.redhat.com which is not behind a login. What do you think about this?

some of these docs I think will have to be written into an open source format, as I don't think RedHat cover enough topics without the subscription paywall any more.

For this example, I'd be happy to write a page, but that would be a change from linking to a doc to hosting and maintaining the document inside the foreman docs, which is more work, but it's worth doing if this is a model/policy that will be adopted, no linking to paywalled docs, acknowledging that it will require more work as any paywalled docs will need to be natively written (to not steal content) and then maintained

As you already noticed, this would be a lot of work to apply this to all links. Instead, I'd try to find some legit and trustable sources on the internet, such as upstream documentation. For example, we already link to "podman.io/docs/".

About this specific link: If you open a PR, I'd review it though I could not commend on the tech itself.

if there are open links they should always be used, as you used in the fedora example, high quality, highly available, well maintained, my worry is the RHEL docs a lot of them are really important for Foreman and Katello due to the obvious satellite relationship, so I can't imagine there will be huge options for content, which as you rightly say would generate work to include as foreman docs, rather than link, I guess it's reward v effort and how important the information is, I see it as important as it's worth being linked to, and most of the docs are good docs, just restricted access.

I'm happy to do a PR for this specific example and that will resolve this specific problem, I was more interested as a concept should the foreman docs be linking to paywalled docs, and if not, what's the real world alternative
