Currently, webshot is used to to grab an image of the functional network from the pkgnet report. This image is rectangular, and no cropping of whitespace was done in the initial version in order to avoid cropping out non whitespace.
The images generated from this process are commonly 960x475, and we restrict them to a width of 300. This shrinks the image. When they are in line with a square image taken via a seperate process (screen shot possibly), this makes them look especially small.
One solution I would think is to take square pictures of the networks to begin with, but I am open to other solutions.
