Hide "Microphone" in tray area

I don't care for the microphone icon. In fact, it annoys me even when it's stashed away in the hidden icons popup. Win 10 had the option to remove it. Win 11 insists that the only way to remove it, is to disallow any app to access the mic. Can it please go outside and play hide with the "Recommended" section of the start menu?

Appreciated, but if we could rely on MS listening to users who know what they are doing, this project would not exist. That thread is most useful as a proxy of affirmation for this feature request.
