Pinia store property that is a Map: no pencil icon/edit offered

Not sure whether this is a Pinia or devtools issue: when I view the store in the Pinia panel a property of type Map is not editable: I am not offered the pencil icon only "Copy Value"/"Copy Path".

Is write-access to Pinia state properties of Map type not implemented?
