Vue Storefront 1.4.5

This is an official release of Vue Storefront 1.4

Thanks to our partner - PHOENIX MEDIA and the community we were able to introduce the GraphQL support. Now Vue Storefront can work with standard REST API or GraphQL endpoints giving the developer next layer of abstraction for easier 3rd party services integration.

Moreover, we've added the SSR cache support + plain text/XML/JSON/AMPHTML output generation module which opens Vue Storefront backend development to the whole new spectrum of possibilities.

Vue Storefront 1.3.1

This is an official release of Vue Storefront 1.3.1.

We've introduced TypeScript support for the core of Vue Storefront in this release along with major refactoring works related to the Vue Storefront Modules.

From this package on, the @vue-storefront-core package is available as npm package along with all other themes, stores etc.

Next release (1.4.0) will include the GraphQL support. Bear with us!

1.0RC-3

Vue Storefront v1.0 Release Candidate 3 has just arrived!

This release is a stable step towards 1.0 stable - which is planned for the 1st of June. We've included some pretty cool new features along with major (but probably in most cases transparent) refactoring efforts.

The performance upgrade is one of the key new features of this release. We went down with the average server responses from 0.3s to 0.1s by reducing the size and number of JSON requests (mostly). There is new mechanism called "two-stage caching" responsible for progressive data loading for shortest possible times to first interaction for the users. We've refactored the Product and Category core code to make it easier to extend for the extension developers.

Starting this release we have added the magento1-vsbridge-extended with the full support for Shopping carts, User accounts, Shopping rules ... for Magento 1.9. If you're interested please ask the team for more info on http://vuestorefront.io. Making the Magento1 a first-class-citizen for Vue Storefront!

Our contributors upgraded the User Experience in few key areas of the application and added some new features like an infinite scroll on the category page and support for media galleries on the product page.

1.0RC-2

Vue Storefront v1.0 Release Candidate 2 has just landed! In this release, we were focused on the developer experience. Among cool new features added, most tasks were focused on: stability, extensibility, code quality.

This release brings the Magento 1.9 support and Magento 2 checkout fallback.

Another break-thru with this release is Payment gateway framework with the first module for Stripe payments, build by our Folks at Develo // design.

We've slightly re-composed our repository with Lerna support for managing multiple npm modules inside one repo. Right now the extensions and themes can be published and then separately updated as node modules. Big thanks to Bartek Igielski from Snow.dog (@Igloczek)!

The next major improvements are "Order history" tab, re-factored "My Account tab" and "Discount codes" support in the checkout.

Oh! Thanks to our Community we're now in 5 languages (EN, DE, FR, ES, NL)!

Please be aware that we've switched to "yarn" to support Lerna, and You must run "yarn install" as a first step after pulling the code
