I was going through the following on WCAG 2.2 documentation (https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG22/):

  1. SC 2.5.8: https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG22/Understanding/target-size-minimum.html
  2. Technique C42: https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG22/Techniques/css/C42
  3. SC 2.5.5: https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG22/Understanding/target-size-enhanced.html

The text of C42 talks about having target of sizes 44by44 CSS pixels, and a size based measurement. These measurements are more correspondable to SC 2.5.5, rather than SC 2.5.8 (which C42 is applicable to), as 2.5.8 talks about having target of 24by24 CSS pixels, and a diameter-based measurement.

I want to clarify if there is something within 2.5.8 which corresponds to having minimum 44by44 CSS px for certain targets, or C42 should indeed be referencing to 2.5.5?
