Group 17: Hanlin Tong, Wendy Qian, Yishi Wang
Inspired by recent Netflix series “The Queen’s Gambit”, which the starring actress Anya Taylor-Jay portrays Beth Harmon, a gifted girl orphan struggling with a drug addiction who grew in the 1960s male-dominated world of chess and became a grandmaster and an U.S. Champion, we were interested in what strategies chess players used in their games.
