Macbook M3 Pro + 5k 228 ppi Monitor font to small

Hello
first i want to say thank your for this great piece of software.

I have a M3 MacBook Pro 16" and a LG UltraFine 27" 5k monitor what works well.
As many 5K monitor users i have the problem that the panels, icons and fonts are so small that they are unreadable and i have to run fullHD to read and see wha i am doing.

I installed BetterDisplay what works fine but i am either to dumb to figure out how to do it or it does not work to upscale the UI, icons, fonts, Lightroom/PS panels to a readable size.
Is that possible or impossible, if possible then how?
I could not find any reference to that, not even in the BetterDisplay Wiki, or i overseen it.

I would happily pay for the Pro version, but without this function it's useless for what i wan't to achieve.

You should try enabling flexible scaling and then use the app's resolution slider to see if there is a scaling that looks better to your eyes.

I tried that after readingthe wiki article before i wrote the message but was not successful, but will try again.
For the rest a great piece of software and certainly much more comfortable than switching resolution thru the MacOS settings control panel.

Hmm. Do you have a screenshot of what do you see in terms of resolution list in the Display Mode menu?

Let me take one, there are zillions of different resolutions if i click on "show all resolutions"

You should be able to use the app's resolution slider to simply zoom the screen in/out if things are set up properly.

Hey waydabber, below the screenshots of what iam writing about.
Yes i can move the slider, resolution changes up to 5K, but all get so small that it's unreadable.
Barely readable is quasi 4K resolution, but best is the lowes seen in the screenshots.
From my online researches it's not possible under MacOS to scale up the user interface, but works under windows :-(

Hmm. But if you select any resolution between 2560x1440 HiDPI (this renders the desktop in 5K) and 3840x2160 HiDPI (that actually renders at 8K), the output will be supersampled, so the quality should be great on a 5K display. Why not simply choose a resolution that gives the proper UI size for you in this range?
