Hi @waydabber , thank you very much for the response and software. This is my resolution list under System Settings after "Reset All Display System Settings" under Better Display: This is the unaltered (right after reboot from Reset) resolution list from the Better Display dropdown: I don't see I've just enabled Flexible Scaling, will reboot and see if 2560x1080 appears as an option anywhere (and if it stops letterboxing) |

Hi everyone. I'm trying to set-up my ultrawide display on a Macbook Pro (2019, Intel).
I was able to get it working perfectly while under the Trial for the Pro version, now I bought the Pro version but can't get it to work again.
The display is an LG Ultrawide with 2560x1080 resolution, 75hz refresh rate, connected to the laptop via HDMI. When I get the correct resolution to show up, on System Settings > Displays, it letterboxes the entire image, leaving the correct aspect ratio but only using like half the screen (I'll attach a picture for reference).
System Settings > Displays:

Detect DDC Capabilities

Settings I've changed while trying to troubleshoot:

The problem is likely simple, as I was able to make it work before under the Trial version, but now can't seem to do it.
Thanks in advance for the help!
