I have toggled Combined brightness under Video Control Settings and now I seem to be able to go up to 1600nits but I now get flickering around text and images while scrolling. |

Hi there - If you updated to macOS 26.3+, native upscaling no longer works (and also, Apple Presets partially work). Make sure you are running the latest app version. There is an experimental "Direct upscaling" as well in the latest internal pre-release. |

Hi, I have noticed that I cannot use the extra brightness anymore, it stops at 600nits. In the settings I saw that Enable native XDR brightness upscaling is toggled off. When I click to toggle it on, the toggle doesn't move and I see some text appear under it for a split section before disappearing.
I have screen recorded my screen and this is the best frame I could find.

I don't remember modifying anything in my display settings since the last time the XDR brightness worked, so I'm not sure what it means with Apple Display Preset.
When I go in the Apple Display Preset in the menu and select the BetterDisplay XDR, it selects it for a second and then goes back to the P3-1600nits one).
