Is there intention to release new version bump including diesel 2.3?

For people like me, heavy user of diesel async, it'd be awesome to allow for upgrade of stable codebase to diesel 2.3.
Is there any blocker on a version bump release?

The main blocker is time to go over some of the remaining fixes and improvements I want to do here. I do not have a definitive list but I would like to look at the pipelining thing again and possibly also improving the situation for migrations.

Help there is welcome. There is no timeline for any of that.
