Additional Properties & Additional Properties Map empty in Retrieve/Search APIs Publisher REST API

Hi Team,

As explained in [1], when invoking the Publisher REST API Retrieve/Search APIs [2], the additionalProperties and additionalPropertiesMap fields are returned as empty even when the API contains additional properties.

The internal discussion concluded with keeping the fields in the response without improving the result set or removing the properties from the payload.

However, returning empty fields can be misleading to users. Therefore, shall we at least add a note in the documentation clarifying that these fields are intentionally left empty to reduce the payload size, and that users should use the individual API retrieval endpoint if they need the additional properties for a specific API?

Additionally, the current documentation examples still show populated additional properties. Those examples should also be updated accordingly.

Hi @Methma , I'd like to work on this.
I checked the additionalProperties/additionalPropertiesMap fields in the APIInfo schema (publisher-v4.yaml) - confirmed the same gap exists across 4.2.0 through master and on the live 4.7.0 reference page the auto-generated example actually shows fabricated sample values for both fields, which compounds the confusion you described.

Planning to:
Add a description clarifying these are intentionally left empty in list/search responses, pointing to the "Get Details of an API" operation for actual values
Add an explicit example: [] / example: {} so the rendered docs stop displaying a misleading populated sample

Per the contribution guide, I'll send separate PRs to each relevant branch (4.2.0, 4.3.0, 4.4.0, 4.5.0, 4.6.0, 4.7.0 and master). Let me know if this approach looks right before I open all of them.
