Save your favorite color palettes #306

Description

@fractalman

As an artist, I use XaoS to perform projected fractal zooms that accompany live or electronic music. Audiences find the real time fractal zooms captivating and amazing. As a performer, I choreograph the zoom speed, navigation, color cycling speed and rotation to make the fractal zoom match the dynamics of the music. It is GREAT. However, the biggest problem I face is the lack of easy color control. The only way to bring up a new palette without bringing up a menu is to hit "P" to generate a random palette. Unfortunately, most of the random palettes are not very beautiful, and searching for the next beautiful palette takes some time and disrupts the performance.

The solution I'd like is to be able to store a set of favorite color palettes that could be accessed by a keystroke (not a menu). As a proposed UI, I would like to be able to save the current palette to a function key, so when I find a pretty palette I like, I could save it by typing ctrl-F1, and then retrieve it by typing shift-F1. In this way, I could store up to 12 custom palettes assigned to keys F1-F12. The actual palettes could be saved in xaos.cfg file so they could be ported and shared.
