A good way to do this would be to add it to the supported OpenRouter models (which should be pretty straightforward). Most users won't have the GPU power to run Deepseek R1 locally.

87e9f28 adds support using https://api.deepseek.com. You'll need to set chatgpt-shell-deepseek-key.

I haven't tested it very much. Please give it a spin.
