Automatically mark posts as "read"

I don't like seeing lots of "unread" articles and posts. I have lots of high volume feeds.

Is it possible to remove the read/unread markers/counters?

Currently I just mark all posts as read whenever I have a chance so it's just an extra step for me that I'd like to remove and make automatic. I know I could go through and do this for each feed using a rule, but that is too tedious. So I'd like to just make the one "rule" to apply to all feeds. Mark all as "read" automatically.
