Does not appear to install

Blender Version 2.78a on OS X 10.12.2
Followed the directions to install. Message indicates that module has been installed. However the Add-on slot does not appear within the list.

Had the same issue, until I found out that you needed to unzip the file first and install the .py file instead, but even then it does not show up. Help?
