For this section we will assume that you have just bought the controller, which comes with the code Simple inside or that you have loaded a code that sends MIDI.
Our MIDI controller does not need any other software to work, it sends real MIDI like a normal commercial device. There is no need of installing Hairless or MIDIYoke like in other devices. Configuring Ableton is quite easy.
Configuration
Go to the Ableton Menu: Live/Preferences.
Click the tab MIDI/Sync.
Make sure that Track and Remote for Arduino Input is on.
