Closing this isolated proposal as part of a bounded cleanup of the four overlapping Python dependency PRs generated from the same older base. Each PR changes pyproject.toml independently, while the repository's current Dependabot policy groups all Python update types so the combined dependency set is resolved and tested together.

This branch was generated from 7976dc5; main has since advanced through the 0.2.34 release. A future grouped refresh from current main is the supported update path. No dependency constraint is being changed by this cleanup.
