MTCAD-v0.1.0
It has finally happened!
MTCAD version 0.1.0 is now available as a preview release.
MTCAD is an intended multithreaded CAD application focused on performance and regards to lower end hardware. This first preview release includes the core system seen in previous demos, along with stability improvements and bug fixes to make it usable for very early testing.
What’s included in this release?
This version contains:
- All features shown in previous previews
- Stability improvements and bug fixes
- Early-stage CAD functionality in a working state

What you can do
- Create simple geometric shapes
- Switch and customize the application theme
That’s currently the core feature set — this is still an early preview build.
What’s planned next
- Add macros for compiling to linux distributions
- Support for multiple bodies in a single scene
- Basic export functionality (STL, OBJ)
- Expanded modeling tools
- Custom project save file (.MTC)
- Dedicated tree for managing created bodies
- Timeline system for modeling history

This is an early preview release, so expect:
- Missing features
- Experimental behavior in some systems
- Ongoing architectural changes
- No current support for Linux (Sorry!)
