🎯 Executive Summary

Hi there! I'm Aarav Patel, a 13-year-old student, competitive chess player, and programming hobbyist. I am deeply passionate about advanced Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Geography. Later in life, I aim to build my career as a Software Engineer or a Quantum Scientist, where I can play around with the absolute best concept in physics: Qubits and quantum superposition!

Most of my code is born out of intense vibe-coding, direct debugging sessions, and curious late-night YouTube rabbit holes (like that time I saw a video on Brainfk, copied a Hello World routine into PowerShell, and moved on). I follow WittyAlien and GothamChess on YouTube, and I casually ran into Thibault Duplessis (the creator of Lichess) himself to chat about the open-source lila ecosystem!

♟️ Chess Database: Gambit Win-Rate Matrix

I absolutely detest dry, slow, passive positional chess by a massive mile. My opening repertoire is built entirely on maximum chaos and sharp complications. Below are my top 30 favourite openings, sorted by performance metrics:

Rank Opening Name Win Rate Games Rank Opening Name Win Rate Games
1 Stern (Sturm) Gambit ⚔️ 67.67% 965 16 Nakhmonson Gambit 53.52% 182
2 Halasz Gambit 🚀 65.34% 1,082 17 Urusov Gambit 53.27% 69
3 Von Der Lasa Gambit 64.21% 167 18 Latvian Gambit (Alpha) 53.14% 888
4 Scotch Gambit 61.08% 420 19 Goring Gambit 53.07% 109
5 King’s Gambit 59.76% 100 20 Halloween Gambit 🎃 53.03% 68
6 Vienna Gambit 57.77% 121 21 Colorado Gambit 52.99% 654
7 Bishop’s Opening 56.99% 95 22 Stafford Gambit 52.91% 122
8 Danish Gambit 56.94% 234 23 Schara-Henning Gambit 52.80% 76
9 Ponziani Opening 56.45% 165 24 Wagner-Zucker Gambit 52.64% 97
10 Smith-Morra Gambit 55.55% 196 25 Omega Gambit 52.55% 116
11 Alapin Opening 55.30% 101 26 Latvian Gambit (Beta) 52.38% 109
12 Falkbeer Countergambit 55.19% 132 27 Muzio Gambit 52.22% 96
13 Alien Gambit 🛸 54.34% 164 28 Max Lange Attack 52.13% 444
14 Benko Gambit 53.85% 139 29 Staunton Gambit 52.03% 65
15 Evans Gambit 53.55% 87 30 Traxler Counterattack 💥 51.76% 112

Note: Aggressive g4 thrusts yield a higher live win percentage for me than opening up with standard, dry positional setup lines like d4 or d4-d5 arrays!

🛠️ Diagnostics & Future Roadmaps

  • Tech Stack Matrix: Python (Core), Scala (Exploratory), SQL (DBeaver schemas), JSON/YAML (Configs), PowerShell (pip / iex-irm)
  • Autonomous Chessboard: Designing a Raspberry Pi (Zero W or 4) physical board that mirrors live server match data over APIs, actuates movement coordinates underneath using custom motors, and running rule filters to completely cancel out illegal moves.
  • Infinite Chess Engines: Planning to leverage unbounded grid matrix calculations inspired by Math Olympiad grid structures to script logical chess rule sets that completely discard the traditional 8 × 8 board borders.
