Installing bot

Create application and a bot

Use https://discord.com/developers/applications

Add bot to your server with following rights

Scope

• bot
• applications.commands

Bot Permissions

• Send Messages
• Embed Links
• Read Message History

Clone repository

git clone https://github.com/MButcho/discord-cr-bot

Install latest NodeJS

curl -fsSL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_18.x | sudo -E bash -
sudo apt-get install -y nodejs

Install dependencies

npm install
npm install discord.js

Create config.json in cloned folder

Register commands on server

node deploy-commands.js

Start bot

node index.js
