Language Support
The plugin reads the system language from the current locale, and saves it in the configuration file. Most texts are stored in the system language in the database, without language information. In other words: If there is a text without language information, this text is in the system language. Out of this reason, you cannot change the system language.
You can change the additional languages in the setup menu. If a translation in the system language is not available in the external database, the plugin checks availability in an additional language, which is used as first fallback. As last resort, the original language is used.
You can also assign channels to an additional language. For this, you should select the EPG language of the channel. This will help the plugin to assign the correct movie / TV show / episode to the EPG events and recordings. Note: Information from the external database about the movie / TV show / episode will still be displayed in the system language. If a channel is not explicitly assigned to a language, the plugin assumes that the channels EPG is in the system language.
This is done in the setup menu. All channels in the current channels.conf are listed. If there is a recording from another channel (which might not exist any more), the channel is also listed, after the channels in channels.conf
