Provide a mechanism for exposing only those areas of the map the player has visited.

Issues:

  • How big a "bubble" to expose around the player?
  • How to deal with cave systems (e.g. jellyshroom); initial version may just ignore height/biome differences.

might be too late for that... someone integrated a map within game itself check it out here

edit: It's a shame thought this guy doesn't have a installer which makes it not compatible with anything else
haven't tried it still using SubnauticaWatcher instead.

That's a nice mod. I never had the skill to integrate it directly into the game.
