This release includes changes that allows the loader to work on any/many versions of Stellaris instead of just the latest.
Theoretically, if the patched code hasn't changed it should continue working, however there is currently no mechanism to alert the user that a patch is not applying successfully (it will show up in the stellarstellaris log as being found at an address of 0x0).
