🧰 Step-by-Step: How to Use Your Cloned Extension ✅ 1. Clone the Repository If you haven't already, from your desired folder (like Desktop), run:
git clone https://github.com/OSINT619/DorkSearchTool.git This will create a folder called DorkSearchTool.
✅ 2. Open Chrome and Go to the Extensions Page In Chrome:
Go to the address bar and type: chrome://extensions/ Press Enter.
✅ 3. Enable Developer Mode In the top-right of the Extensions page, turn on the Developer mode toggle.
✅ 4. Load the Unpacked Extension Click "Load unpacked".
Navigate to the folder you just cloned: DorkSearchTool/Dork Search Tool (That inner folder contains the manifest.json and all required files.) Click Select Folder (or Open depending on your OS).
✅ 5. Start Using the Extension: You should now see the extension once you click on the puzzle peice icon in your Chrome toolbar, make sure to pin the extension for easy access. Click the icon to open the interface. Use the dropdowns and buttons to build your Google dork queries. Click Search to open a new tab with the generated search.
✅ 6. Example Usage: Click on the pinned extension Leave the "Select a Dork" on the default option Type "Google Hacking Cheat Sheet pdf" in the text field Click on "Search With Dork" Google will pull up a search that says: "Google Hacking Cheat Sheet pdf" -site:Google Hacking Cheat Sheet pdf Delete "Google Hacking Cheat Sheet pdf" and hit enter. Congrats, you've just gotten your first google dorking results.
✅ IMPORTANT: Have fun and don't forget to always delete the quoted text in the google search field and then hit enter to receive your results.
