  • Actually test .flatpak on SteamDeck and improve usage.
  • Move .flatpak to using SDL2 for build system simplification and Wayland support.
  • Only speed up walls and cursor speed on Hexagon transition
    • Huge note on this one: this technically invalidates all previous scores since the game is now a bit easier. With that said... meh.

All binaries have been tested on all supported platforms (except macOS)

This will be the 3.9.0 release, and likely the last minor version of the 3.x.x series (excluding any needed non-feature patches)

@zaphod77 This PR changes the wall speed to only increase when Hexagon is hit, and will delay the level by about 2 seconds so you can adjust to the new wall speed. See if you like this over progressively increasing the wall speed/cursor speed.

I kept making mistakes during my recent hardware testing run and wonder what you think of this way. The first few tries are tricky with the transition, but I found that wiggling between a couple sides during the pause gives me enough time to adjust to the new cursor speed.

I can't figure out how to download from that link.

I was generally able to get to hexagon before, but i still approve of this change. this makes it more like super Hexagon, where difficulty really kicks in after 60 seconds.

I'd say it's fair.

If you haven't already compiled the branch yourself for testing, as long as you are logged in you should be able to see the artifacts under the graph on the Summary page, like this:
