- Fixed errors in BOM
- Fixed outdated RF Modulator footprint
- Added silkscreen denoting PAL and NTSC X1 frequencies (see note about X1 frequencies below)
- Added mask layer to edge connector to remove soldermask from the mating surfaces
- Added JST footprint for future open source power/reset button PCB
Notes:
The X1 crystal in the BOM is for an NTSC board, if you want to make a PAL board, you will need to use a PAL CPU, a PAL PPU, and a PAL crystal (26.601712MHz) instead of NTSC.
A few parts aren't in the BOM due to mainstream component suppliers not stocking them,
so they will have to be bought separately.
They include 1 30pF trimmer capacitor (Can be found on Aliexpress), 1 4-resistor 6.8K common bus resistor array (Can be found on ebay or similar sites), 2 DAN601 diode arrays (Can be found on UTSource), 2 UPA64H diode arrays (Also UTSource), 1 2SA937 transistor (Can be found on Ebay), and 2 2SC2021 transistors (Also Ebay).
You will of course have to source either an original CPU and PPU, or aftermarket parts.
