fgCommand.sh

Usage: sudo ./fgCommand.sh {load|log <on/off/clean>|remove|show <log/watchlist>|start|status|stop|unload}

load
Loads the launch FileGuard daemon.

log

  • on enables logging.
  • off disables logging.
  • clean prunes the FileGuard log file.

remove
Removes /Library/LaunchDaemon/com.fileguard.watcher.plist Effectivaly disabling FileGuard.

show

  • log shows the content of the log file.
  • watchlist shows the current / active paths that are being monitored and checked by the FileGuard daemon.

start
Kick starts the FileGuard daemon. Force it to check the watchpaths.

stop
Stops the FileGuard launch daemon. Usually done before an unload instruction.

unload
Unloads the FileGuard launch daemon. Usually done after a stop instruction.
