Fix Git and User extensions to not assume /home directory
- Fixed a bug where the Git and User extensions assumed all home directories are under
/home, breaking setups with non-standard paths - +190 lines changed, 10 review comments
- Used by robotics engineers worldwide running ROS in Docker containers
