HandsUp

Version 1 - Spring 2019

Overview

HandsUp is a handy tool helps students who need help from mentors to sign and check queued status.

HandsUp also provides real-time data for both mentors and students.

Goals:

1. Allow TA, mentor and students group at the same meeting online
2. To help students sign in during office hour when request help.
3. To provide students real-time information on the current queued process.
4. To help mentors check information of students who need help.
5. Save time for both student and mentors by avoiding missing correct queued information. ( normal queued mechanism request students often focus on the blackboard and mentors might be disturbed by unclear > . information on blackboard)
6. Easy to create and delete student queued information.

Milestones:

1. HandsUp has a complete model (data structure)
2. HandsUp can create a new office hour and edit status online.
3. HandsUp provides real-time information.
4. HandsUp has a backend for storing the event information.
