For our final project we’re going to design a simplified version of the MOS 6502 8-bit microprocessor with only a subset of its instructions. The 6502 is a classic CPU that powered some of the popular early systems such as the Apple II and NES.
- Datapath: 2966 × 1489 = 4,416,374 λ²
- Control Logic: 1291 × 586 = 757,817 λ²
- ROM: 934 × 1069 = 998,446 λ²
