Currently, if you close a question (for example, if it's a dup of another question, or deemed by moderators to be an inappropriate question), it still shows up when the "Unanswered" filter is selected. This doesn't seem like the right behavior. People use Unanswered as the primary entry point for finding questions to go address, but closed questions shouldn't be shown for that use case.
Suggested solution: Make the Unanswered filter only show questions with no answers that are still open.
