QGIS Workshop

Materials for a QGIS workshop.

• The workshop will be held in Czech, with English interpretation available.

What you'll need

• Bring your own laptop.
• Install QGIS (version 3.4 and above; preferably in English) https://qgis.org/download/.
• Register in the AMCR training version https://amcr-tr.aiscr.cz/.

1. Intro & opening (What is your experience with GIS? What do you expect to learn?)
2. A bit of theory (vector and raster data, CRS etc.)
3. QGIS interface
4. Projects in QGIS
5. Data and datasources (WMS etc.)
6. Working with layers
7. Georeferencing
8. Importing data from AMCR
9. Exporting data in AMCR format (creating PIANs)
10. Export of a map
