V2 Standard Logging leverages Amazon CloudWatch Logs, and provides integrations into Kinesis, CloudWatch Logs and support for APACHE Hive style partitioned outputs to S3. This represents a significant deviation from the historic approach to log configuration via CDK and CloudFormation.
