Describe the bug

Keyboard opens when I tap anywhere on the screen.

Expected behavior

Keyboard should only open when a text control, such as a text input or text area, is tapped or focused.

This issue occurs frequently and it’s so distracting and it ruins the beauty of this beautiful app.

The thing with a terminal is that the whole surface is a text area, because the keyboard is the control! What we want here is a way to lock the keyboard from showing up, and so when it hides you can tap around plus. And that is already accommodated and coming on 18.8.
