ansible-role-joiner-user

This Ansible role creates the joiner user, whose sole reason for existence is to join the host to the FreeIPA domain.

None.

Role Variables

None.

Dependencies

• cisagov/ansible-role-freeipa-client: In order to join a host to a FreeIPA domain, one must have the FreeIPA client system package installed.

Installation

This role can be installed via the command:

ansible-galaxy install --role-file path/to/requirements.yml

where requirements.yml looks like:

---
- name: joiner_user
  src: https://github.com/cisagov/ansible-role-joiner-user

and may contain other roles as well.

Example Playbook

Here's how to use it in a playbook:

  become: true
  become_method: sudo
