how can I use "-phone_align yes align" and "-state_align yes align" commands within python file?

I'd start by checking how those command-line options are typically used in the terminal. Then, I'd look into how these commands are integrated or wrapped in Python.

The docs for phoneme alignment are much better than they were a few years ago, and good enough for at least the big three AI to show you advanced working examples. @magnumrg If you are still having trouble after asking a modern LLM, ask me here and I'll show you a fully worked-out example I use in production commercial work.

I have to say though, state alignment is not something with a lot of use cases outside of debugging new languages' acoustic models. At least I've never seen any real uses of it in practice.
