Building on the excellent foundation of the Tone.js Sampler, this project adds advanced, professional-grade functionality and features:

Features (as of December 2025):

- Preload, streaming and file based sample loading and management

- Velocity layers based sample dynamics engine

- Cross-faded looping processor w/ no click playback of samples (see note)

- Instant selection of zero-crossing loop points

- Round robin sample playback

- Sample editor UI

Note: Current development non-built version of Tone.JS and the Sampler instrument includes loop setting overall for samples - yay! 🙏

How to install (future):

npm install tone tone-sampler-pro

Some of the recent work includes building upon the recent work done for the feature of setting loop in and out points, and having that per sample and allowing cross-faded audio much like professional DAWs do in audio editing scenarios and how most professional samplers work.
