- To download
terraform, please follow steps mentioned here. Make sure you set the environment variable(s). - Verify if
terraformhas been installed and configure by executingterraform -v. - Install
AWS CLIfrom here. - Verify if
AWS CLIhas been installed and configued by executingaws --version. - Log in to
AWS Web Console- If user exists, then go to
IAM->Users-><user>->Security Credential->Access keys->Create access keyand note downAccess Key IDandSecret Access Key. - If user doesn't exist then create a user with
programmatic accessto AWS and note downAccess Key IDandSecret Access Key.
- If user exists, then go to
- Next step is to configure these credentials in the
AWS CLIby executingaws configure. EnterAccess Key IDandSecret Access Key, keep everything else default.
- Go to
projects\my-project\stagingdirectory. - Execute
terraform init -backend-config="backend.conf"command to prepare working directory. - Execute
terraform planto show changes which are required to be performed. - Execute
terraform applyto create or update infrastructure. - Please check other below mentioned commands to be executed:
