In Chrome, the scrollbar almost takes the whole container size. This is before:

This is working for me:

We can definitely make this prettier like for owner stack but how are you supposed to scroll if you just hide the scrollbar?

You can still scroll, you just won't see the scrollbar.

I am not sure why are we seeing different scrollbar behaviour, are you using Canary version of Chrome or do you have any flags enabled in chrome://flags/?

Update: still reproduces for me in Canary build.

Does it reproduce in Chrome stable? We don't hide scrollbars anywhere else so users aren't used to hidden scrollbars.

This is standard behavior on macos if you hide scrollbars unless you're scrolling i.e. it's the express wish that the scrollbar bleeds into content. You can change this under "Appearance > Show scroll bars". I don't know how Apple expects to work around that. Either you add padding, but then everybody gets less space or you live with this behavior.

It reproduces for me both on stable and canary builds. It could be something weird with my feature flags / setup, I am not sure where to check.

Should we style the scrollbar then, at least? So that it works in both scenarios.
