Welcome to the SmallGalaxy_Engine wiki!

I put together this 2D XNA engine in order to streamline the prototyping process, and allow me to try out ideas rapidly. It started with just a number of samples and tutorials I found online, but I have continued to expand on and change it as needed. Most if not all of the original sample code I started with has changed completely as I have better understood how those systems worked, and adjusted them to fit my needs (with the exception of the debug tools). It uses a Scene Manager and a retained Entity framework, with a flexible animation engine (based on Brandon Furtwangler's Zoom Engine example: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/brandf/) that makes drawing content on screen quick and easy.

If you are at all familiar with the Screen Manager tutorials on http://create.msdn.com/ than getting up and running with this engine should be simple enough. But I should have some basic tutorials on here soon! :)
