Midea Water Heater integration misses many entities (REF 184217 closed as solved but not solved!) #185687

Description

@papperone

The problem

I have been using my water heater integrated in HA via Midea AC LAN for a while without major issues, now that I see Midea device have been integrated into core I tried to switch to the internal integration but for my Water Heater it is missing lots of entities; it shows only 5 while the AC Lan customer creates 11, all the ones available.
below the 2 integrations to compare. I already opened the same issue, it was closed as "solved" as from 2026.10.0 but as obviously it's not solved...

if I need to upload more info please ask...

Of those missing, some of them might not be added.
Eg. power: it is already part of water_heater entity and is controlled by it.

let me summarize, sorry not to have included all relevant info:

    • Riscaldamento Intero Serbatoio (switch) --> "Heating whole tank" is missing
    • Riscaldamento variabile (switch) --> "Variable Switching" is missing
    • Mantenimento Caldo (binary) --> "Keep Heating Level" is missing (and quite useful)
    • Protezione (binary) --> "Protection" is missing (used for avoid manual changes from the heater controls, useful)
    • Riscaldamento (binary) --> "Heating" is missing (useful to know if the resistance is on or off)

on top there are additional function that are in the APP SmartHome but not integrated either in Midea or Midea AC LAN:

    • Memo-U [AI] (switch) -- turn on or off the AI function to learn your weekly usege and adapt the heating to it (useful to save energy)
    • MegaWater (switch) -- enable up to 18% more hot water using some extra power (useful to automate in case of for example guest in the house, so more shower time expected)
    • Sterilizzazione (switch) -- turn to 80° for 5 minutes to remove bacteria and sanitize the tank (woudl be great to have it to automate this procedure)
it woudl be great if those coudl be added to the integration to avoid going to the APP for those changes

Could you please enable one of the requested switches at a time and provide the diagnostic information with only one enabled?
