The Incubator for Artificial Intelligence (i.AI) is an agile delivery team within the Government Digital Service (GDS), part of the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT).
Our mission is to act on government's duty to harness AI for public good. To do this we recruit top talent from industry, academia and across the public sector to make government better and serve the public interest.

Theme Finder | A topic modelling Python package designed for analysing one-to-many question-answer data (i.e. survey responses, public consultations, etc.). |
GovAI Client | A thin chat client for connecting to MCP Servers. |
Website | This is our repository for our public website. The intent of this site is to give us a public space for showcasing our work, news about the team, upcoming jobs and interesting commercial partnerships. |
Utilities package | This is our utilities library. We use this to store common patterns for usage across the team and is available for anyone to make use of too! |
Parliament MCP | An MCP server that roughly maps onto a subset of https://developer.parliament.uk/, as well as offering additional semantic search capabilities. |
