With the latest Arduino IDE ESP32 tools are located in the same place where are the ESP8266. So I fixed the extension to search both (old and the new) locations when the architecture is ESP32 .

I am unable to use the extension because this feature is lacking for ESP32. Can you merge please?

@ludvigaldrin I strongly recommend checking out platform.io
works like a charm with ESP32/8266 development
