Document that contributions produced with AI tools are accepted under the OpenInfra Foundation AI Policy, and surface the concrete obligations: disclose AI usage with Assisted-By / Generated-By commit trailers, stay in the loop and be able to debug the code, and ensure output is license compatible. Updates CONTRIBUTING.md to explicitly allow AI-assisted / AI-generated contributions under the OpenInfra Foundation AI Policy, while documenting the concrete contributor obligations (disclosure, accountability, and licensing compatibility).
Changes:
- Adds an “AI generated code” section referencing the OpenInfra Foundation AI Policy.
- Documents required commit trailers (
Assisted-By:/Generated-By:) and contributor responsibilities (stay “in the loop”, ensure license compatibility). - Adds the new section to the document table of contents.
