While digging in the touch event handling of your script, I saw that you heavily using the _coordinates function which works everytime.
In order to improve it a little bit, I just cached the result of it in a new coords property of the event.
I tested it quickly and it seems to work correctly, but you may test it more on your behalf to be sure it doesn't have other impacts.
