CDN requirements

The following are some requirements in addition to the purely technical requirements (for those, see the docs).

• access to usage logs which allow us to analyse

  • browser usage
  • identifying popularity of individual versions and features
  • referrer data

• access to the MathJax files on the CDN origin must allow us

  • to upload releases (beta testing could be done elsewhere)
  • for security updates
  • control over TTL
  • a sufficient structure for versioning (currently we use a folder structure but a multi-container structure could be an alternative.)

• ability to keep the cdn.mathjax.org CNAME

• a bonus would be https access at that location (this would require certificates etc)
