To set up the College Daily Entry Closure System on your local machine, follow these steps:
1.Download and install XAMPP from the official Apache Friends website: https://www.apachefriends.org/index.html
2.Clone or download the website repository from the GitHub repository: college-daily-entry-closure-system.
3.Extract the downloaded files into the htdocs directory of your XAMPP installation. The path should be similar to: C:\xampp\htdocs\college-daily-entry-closure-system.
4.Start the XAMPP control panel and launch the Apache and MySQL services.
5.Open a web browser and navigate to http://localhost/phpmyadmin.
6.Create a new database named college_entry_db.
7.Import the SQL dump file college_entry_db.sql located in the database directory of the website repository. This will create the necessary tables and populate the database with sample data.

When you return to the college, access the website again and click on the "Close Entry" button.
Provide your unique entry ID to close your entry successfully.
